I was not paid to say this, but for cloth diapers, I love All Free & Clear! It's cheap and it does a great job. I have never once had to strip my diapers due to detergent build-up, I've never had an issue with diaper odor, and I've been using the same dipes for 18 months! At first we started with Charlie's soap laundry powder, but I just decided it was too expensive and on the advice of another CDing friend, Aletta, decided to switch to All F&C about a year ago.
So to those new CDing mamas, don't let the interwebs convince you you have to buy special, fancy, expensive soap to safely wash your diapers. All Free & Clear will do the job just as well.

I use Dreft, or the Target brand UP for my cloth diapers. I guess I don't know cost comparison to the kind you use, but mine still look just as new as the day I got them. I won't have another baby to go into the Gdiapers, but know when I go to pass them off, they still will look new!
That's good to know. I am using up the Charlie's soap we have. My only question, is how would the All work with our washer? It's one of the those energy efficient ones, so I am assuming that I would just use less soap. Also - do you use powder or the liquid?
We had good look with pretty much any brand of F&C and our cloth dipes.
Summer - I use the liquid, and I guess you'd just use less than called for in your washer? Or does the detergent have to be rated for use with HE washers? I wish I had one of those washers, then I would know, lol!!
Ella - I looked it up and All will work with HE washers. I can't wait to try using it. Thanks so much for the tip!!!
We also use All F&C on our diapers. Been using it for 9 months and not one problem! (my first visit here - hi!)
