A Seriously Serious Topic

Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post!  I loved hearing what you all think about your own child spacing and adding-to-the-family decisions.  This is why I love blogging so :)  As long as I'm on a roll with helpful advice and people leaving comments...

I have a really SERIOUS question for you.

I know that most of you, dear readers, are female.  So I'm going to throw out a question that only other females can answer.

You see, I have an issue with my underwear.  It's always... sagging.  There, I said it.  I have saggy underwear.  *shameface*  I guess that's the right word.  It just doesn't stay up!  It drives. me. crazy.  Now, in the interest of honesty, I have to say this: I have no butt.  I really don't.  I wasn't born with a booty and I'll never have one, so I am sure that is contributing to this issue.  But it's also the underwear.

Does anyone else share this problem?  What kind of underwear is good at staying up?  Maybe I am wearing the wrong size?

So let me hear your favorite brands/types/etc.  I'm in need of some serious help here!

I'm usually a bikini cut girl.  Oh, and I have a friend who swears by wearing thongs every day (you know who you are!!), but I can't do it.  Just can't do it.  Sorry, no way, no how!

Thanks ladies!

This is seriously the first time I have ever heard of such a problem! But I guess, my first thought would be that you have the wrong fit--I'm not sure that the brand matters so much. Or maybe its the type of material? I'm personally a Victoria's Secret girl, but that's only because I like the quality and the lace and they send me coupons in the mail. And boy shorts are my preferred cut for everyday wear. I'm really curious to see if other people have this issue.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha And I love the thongy comment (totally agree...can't live my life that way) and ahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Sorry, no helpful advice here. Maybe you need some ass-vice, huh? ahahahahahahaha Seriously, Ella, I needed a good bloggy laugh tonight! =) hugs!

I think I have this problem sometimes too! Have you ever tried the ones that look like tiny shorts? Maybe those would work well because you would get more support from the sides and not need as much support from the back then? Just a thought!

I would also say you are getting ones that are too big, though. I think there's a fine line between being tootight and not tight enough!

If I were you I would go on a shopping spree and buy a ton of different kinds in all shapes, sizes, and styles and figure out what's going to work for you. It's sort of a sucky investment but in the long run I'm sure it will be worth it to have some you really like!

And I could not be more with you on the thong comment. I have maybe 3-5 thongs but I never wear them for more than a few minutes. ::wink:: haha

That is a really serious question!

My thought is that you're wearing too big of britches (ha!).

Victoria's Secret never worked for me--they gave me a saggy butt and I've definitely got a rear. So I'd go with Adrienne's advice and go buy several different types and see what works. I've found that anything more cottony is more likely to sag, whereas if it's a more stretch material it doesn't (Target has a lot of options!). I guarantee a solution exists!

Thank you all for your comments!! I am glad to know that I am not alone... and that no one judged me for such a ridiculous blog topic!

Alright, so I'm going to go and try out some different types and sizes and I'll start by trying out some other fabrics besides cotton... I have had ENOUGH of this!! :)

I'm one of those crazies that swear by thongs. But I have a bit of the opposite issue as I have a ghetto booty ;-)

I agree with trying some different fabrics, something with a little spandex might help :) I really like the boy shorts by VS too. Good luck in the underwear search!

Ella--I'm not blessed in the butt department either, and I love boyshorts. DH also insists that they look the best. :)
